We are currently the only Western Riding for the Disabled group in the country, and are proud to be Clubmark approved.
White Rocks Western Riding RDA is a group set up to provide not only riding opportunities for people with disabilities but also to help individuals to reach therapeutic goals, achieve their personal ambitions, combat social isolation, develop life skills, experience the outdoors and connect with animals.
We are based within the beautiful Kent countryside and have a new indoor and outdoor arena catering for our riding lessons whatever the weather. We have six beautiful western horses who are specially trained to provide an excellent riding experience. Our instructors are trained to high standards and are there to help and support each rider with their individual needs.
The gentle nature of Western riding means that it is ideal for people with disabilities to master. Our horses are trained to be responsive to the lightest touch and can also be controlled with one hand. The Western saddle gives a deep secure seat offering a great deal of stability.
